Hi Peoples! It's been about a week since the last post. Since then, me and my sis went to Vegas! I must confess, I have another love in life than just blogs: volleyball. I am on a club team, and we spent a weekend in Las Vegas competing :) It was a blast, and I got a chance to see Vegas for the first time. Honestly, I'm not a fan of Vegas. But, there are some interesting things there. Like the Venetian Hotel, or the Bellagio water show. Or all the other amazing shows they do there. As for Vegas itself, it's just nasty, and I hope that I will never spend more than a weekend there...ever. That got me thinking how much I love California, and how I never want to live anywhere but here! A couple days after we got back, we visited my favorite Pepperdine student (my sister) in Malibu, CA. This opened up another idea for our blog...

Top Ten Things To Do At The Beach

You don't have to be tourists to do these things.... we live here and do them all the time ;)

#1 Jumping picture

Ok, who HASN'T taken a picure with their friends jumping on the beach? Never gets old...

#2 Writing your name in the sand

again...everyone loves to do this! The sand is so drawable ;)

#3 chasing birds

#4 Digging a hole

You never know what you'll find!

#5 sleeping..zzzzzzz

#6 EATING!!

For some unknown reason, we forgot snacks when we were at the beach, so instead we went to this AMAZING place called Lily's Cafe. Best fish tacos you'll ever have.

#7 volleyball

Even if you're not a pro, volleyball is still a fun way to spend time on the sand.

#8 walking along the beach/ shell searching

It's really refreshing to walk along the coast.

#9 Body surfing/swimming! One of my favorite things to do!

#10 Watching the sunset after a perfect day on the CA coast

We love the beach!

How to make an origami Paper Heart:

Happy Valentine's Day Eve! If you need a quick idea to give to a friend or a special someone... this origami heart is super easy to make and really cute!

What you will need:

square paper or origami paper

tape

that's it!

Fold the paper in half, and then fold in in half the other way.

When you open it, it should look like this:

 

Take the tip of the square, and fold it to the center, then take the bottom tip and fold it to the top.

Now, take the corner and fold it to the top. It should look like this:

Now do the same to the other side. It now should look like a pointy heart

Now flip it over and fold in the four outer corners

Now your heart is complete! If you want you can put a little note inside, then tape it to seal it completely :)
